Contest Time?

Hey all!

I posted a video about a week back asking my subscribers if I should have a contest and if I do would I get entries? So I thought I'd post a bulletin here as well and ask you guys if you think you'd enter if I did?

Since I haven't got a massively great response on my video, the contest will probably be in about a month or so and will most likely be a comment entry contest. If you think you'll enter, or you have any ideas for the contest please let me know! =]

One Year Anniversary! =D

Yerp! Today marked my one year anniversary of making videos on youtube, and I can honestly say that I could NEVER have done it without all of the support my subscribers and everyone else has generously given me!

I remember sitting in front of the camera for the very first time with my horribly ungroomed eyebrows, filming my 'Grey and purple look'. I watch it now and I actually cringe at how posh my accent comes across and I remember how uncomfortable I was talking to myself - all in the hope that people would see it and subscribe (false hope maybe?) ... I must have done something right because I did gain subscribers, so I carried on making videos and here I am a year later with 187 subscribers (I know that's probably not that much for some of you but it's a lot for me, and it means a lot to me too), and over 20,000 views on one of my videos (I still can't believe that every time I say it haha).

I have to admit that I've learnt a lot about make-up in the last year and I'm 100% sure that I'll carry on learning more, and (unfortunately for my bank account) my make-up collection will continue to grow exponentially!

For now though, I'd just liked to throw out a MASSIVE thank you to all my subscribers... and once I start my job in September I'm definitely going to be having a contest to show how much I appreciate the support from you guys! Sure, I was laughed at, and still am by many I'm sure, but it's your support that means the most to me! =D

I hope I can continue to give you videos that you want to watch (remember to send me in your requests because that's how I know EXACTLY what you guys wanna watch) and I hope that you continue watching enjoy watching my videos!

Miscellaneous: Over 18,000 views =]

So... Im sitting here on my bed at precisely 00:01am and crying because I've had SUCH a horrible day. Trust me... the best part of my day was my 3 hour long exam that made my wrist hurt soooooo much (my wrists get hurt easily because I sprained them a few years back =[)! Now imagine what a horrible day I've had if the best part of it was THAT! Lol

Seeing as I was previously lying in bed, staring at the ceiling I decided to turn on my laptop and have a look at some of my old videos on youtube... and then I came across my 'How to crimp your hair' tutorial and noticed it had over 18,000 views on it! 18,256 views to be precise.

I also managed to gain more than 100 subscribers some time ago, which Im also really happy about! And now I have 130 so I'm super excited... once I hit 150 hopefully I can have a contest - SO SPREAD THE WORD hehe!!

I'm hoping that I continue to gain more subscribers and my views rise on other videos of mine!

I just wanna say a massive thank you to all my friends and family who have supported me so much through all of this and all my subcribers (my youtubefriends and family) hehe!

YAY FOR 100!!

All in all it's been an okay day... but Im not gonna sit here and dwell on the bad stuff 'cause as of today I reached 100 subcribers on youtube! =]

I know it sounds really stupid that Im so happy about 100 subscribers, when soooo many youtube guru's out there have like 100,000... but when I first started doing the videos on youtube I was unbelievably self-conscious, had about as much self-confidence as a snail, and honestly thought that I would get more 'haters' than anything else - but I'm so happy I've proved myself wrong and Im happy that Ive gained self-confidence in the process - not so much that I LOVE myself, but just enough so I can get up in the morning and actually look in the mirror haha! Especially, after the last few months I've had! =[

100 subscribers sound like NOTHING compared to the other guru's but I didn't set out to compete against them... I set out to do something that I'd enjoy doing, and I do!! I really really do! hehe

So... I love all my subscribers on youtube - especially all my loyal ones who comment and rate all my videos hehe.

You really don't realise how big a part youtube can actually become in your life. It's really weird - but I'm glad I chose to start doing the videos and I hope I gain more support from everyone on there and on here as well!
