Youtube Tutorial - To The Beach Look 1

Hey guys!

Strictly speaking I used way more than just the products from the To The Beach collection by MAC, but that doesn't matter! Does it?

I think this look is just amazing and thought it was the perfect look to wear today considering how it's beautifully sunny and well... summery! Maybe summer's finally here to stay in London hehe

This look is probably too much for wearing to the beach but on a perfect summer's day or even evening, this look, I think, is perfect ;)

It's incredibly colourful and lovely... and notice how the only black in this look is the eyeliner? ... (and the mascara, but that's a given) ... You could wear a brown mascara for a more natural look too and skip the black eyeliner across your upper lashline to give you the PERFECT summers day look - but I'm a sucker for black eyeliner. I always have to wear it in some way or the other hehe

Anyway, here is a list of the products followed by some pictures:
EYES:
MAC Paint Pot - Coral Crepe (Prêt-à-Papier collection)
MAC Matte Eyeshadow - Sand and Sun (To The Beach collection)
MAC Veluxe Pearl Eyeshadow - Firecracker (To The Beach collection)
MAC Frost Eyeshadow - Cut to fit (Prêt-à-Papier collection)
Barry M Dazzle Dust - DD39 Tan
120 Pro Palette - Bright yellow colour
Barry M Kohl Pencil - KP24 Orange
L'Oreal Double Extension Mascara - Ultra-Lengthening

FACE:
Astral Moisturiser
Barbara Daly Concealer - Medium
E.L.F All Over Colour Stick - Golden Peach
E.L.F Studio Blush - Candid Coral

LIPS:
MAC Frost Lipstick - Thrills (To The Beach collection)
MAC Lipglass - Flurry of Fun (To The Beach collection)

Review: 'Happy Bloomin' Cherry Chops Bath Melt' is Bloomin' Awesome!

This is the Happy Bloomin' Cherry Chops bath melt from LUSH.

If you know me well, you know that I haven't been into LUSH products for that long (since November 2009, to be exact) but I truly think I've found a new love!

I've 'fallen in love' with other cosmetic brands before, of course - Barry M, 2true, L'oreal are just a few among the many brands which just seem to see me walk into the store and quickly set out a display that's utterly irresistable, but throw me into LUSH and you have a kid in a candy store!

When I walk into LUSH, not only does the scent of the store overwhelm me (in a good way), the colours, and originality of every single product excites me! I always end up going around the store smelling everything or just sticking my finger in it and making it wobble (Shower Jellies) - hehe.

I've walked past the Bath Melts display so many times before and never really bothered to even think of trying them. If I'm honest, I wasn't too sure about them but I figured I might as well try at least one and see how they are - otherwise I would never know ... SO ... my first bath melt was 'You've been mangoed' (more on that in a later post) and in a word - Okay. But, when I tried the 'Cherry Chops' bath melt, I was A-MAZED!!

I wasn't too sure how I felt about it in the store, but as one of LUSH's new products I felt the need to try it out. Took it home, popped it in the bath and as Janice from FRIENDS would say -"OH... MY... GOOOOOD!" ... I loved it so much!

The smell of it is amazing! Cherries and calomine... whoever came up with that duo is a star! The smell of the calomine doesn't come through whilst the product is solid as much as it does when it starts to melt in the water. Both scents just simply marry the minute it starts to melt away and starts turning the water milky... PLUS you get 3 baths in one! ... I loved it! Definitley gonna be a re-purchase - hoping that it wasn't part of LUSH's Valentines Day collection.

Miscellaneous: What to do?!?

Hey guys!

If you're a loyal subscriber of mine, you've probably noticed that I haven't really been doing tutorials that much recently.

And I'm sorry... but the main reason for this is that I simply just do not know what kind of tutorials you guys want. Basically, I'm kind of asking for requests... but I'm also asking you to tell me what you really like on my channel, and what you'd like to see more of... coz I'm running out of ideas fast!

I will be putting up a few tutorials using the products that I bought from the 'To The Beach' collection by MAC, and maybe a couple more with the products from the Prêt-à-Papier collection but what else do you guys wanna see?

What colours? -- Day looks? -- Night time/going looks? -- Everyday/quick-to-get-ready makeup?

And it doesn't have to stop at tutorials... would you like to see a review on anything? Or any other ideas? Tags? Anything else?

Please please let me know!

You can either comment on here, or on my youtube profile... you can message me there to. Regarding requesting for reviews: you can, again, comment or message me and I'll let you know if I have the product or not. If I don't, I'll try and buy it and if I can't buy it I'll be sure to let you know. Either way, I'll respond to your request in the best way I possibly can and as fast as possible!

Thanking you all in advance... I look forward to reading some of your ideas and requests =D

Plastic Surgery - Yay or Nay?

The first episode of the final season of 'The Hills' started here in the UK last Sunday. I was never really a huge fan of the so-called reality TV show but when the repeats used to be constantly shown on E4 I ended up following the lives of these people. The love interests, the highs and the lows between each of them. It's literally, almost the 'real' version of Sex and The City. Only these people are rich and begging for fame.

Now then, whether or not you know who Heidi Montag is, I'm sure we've all seen the shocking headlines about her 10 plastic surgery procedures within 10 hours and after seeing the 'new her' on the show last Sunday night, I was shocked and I was so close to tears thinking 'Oh my goodness! What have you done to yourself?!?'

From the moment I started following the show I never said any one of them was ugly. All of the women on The Hills, in my opinion are beautiful and - well, let's just say they're clearly famous for a reason, you know?

In the first episode, Heidi goes to visit her mother and step father to show them the new her and it's honestly heart breaking when we get to listen to the conversation between her and her mother discussing her plastic surgery. I'm not a mother, not even close, but I can honestly say I agreed with every word her mother said about how she thought Heidi was so much more better looking when she was ... well, natural. We're also shown that Heidi cannot talk much or chew a burger because her jaw is still sore and 'locked up' from her jaw shaving procedure.

The main thing that really got me thinking is when Heidi said to her mother something along the lines of 'You don't live where I live. You live in the mountains...' This statement shocked me. She's clearly fallen to become a victim of the media and what the MEDIA expects you to look like if your famous.

And now the media can't stop saying 'Heidi looked so much better before.' If the media thought that, then why didn't they say it in the first place. Heidi must have clearly been ridiculed for something or the other by the media causing her to think she's not beautiful enough so she has to change these things about her appearance. She has admitted that she had her jaw shaved because everyone used to say she had a Jay Leno chin. So the media makes these nasty comments about her chin, and now that she's had the plastic surgery the media makes nasty comments about that. They'll never be happy. The media will always find something and someone to pick on - and people like Heidi, and Michael Jackson and so many others have clearly fallen victim to this.

So what exactly are your views on it? Do you think Heidi looks better now? Do you think the media has any part to play in causing these famous people to change their appearance? Let me know =]

I'm sick =[

So I'm sitting here at home, when I SHOULD be out with my friends, enjoying myself, but instead I'm alone at home, stuck in front of the telly watching LASSIE because I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo unbelievably sick! :'( The sun is out, it's sooooooooooo hot out side and I'm stuck indoors!!! (FYI... The last time I watched this movie was when I was like 4 yrs old haha)

I went to bed last night feeling so crappy and I thought it was hayfever - I woke up this morning with a sore throat, sneezing and coughing every two seconds. AND I've got fever =[ ... it's so horrible.

On the bright side, there was a package for me this morning from E.L.F, so that somewhat cheered me up hehe

I ordered a bunch of stuff yesterday evening and the stuff was dispatched within an hour of ordering it. I didn't expect it to be delivered to my door the very next morning. Especially when I ordered it pretty late in the day. Im so happy with E.L.F in general, regarding deliveries and stuff but one product that I ordered this time certainly wasn't what I expected. I'll deffo be doing a haul on the stuff as soon as I'm able to talk again without having to sneeze or cough or blow my nose even!

Just thought I'd post something here since I won't be on youtube for God knows how long - it won't be weeks or anything but I haven't exactly been very frequent with my videos recently and I promise that once I well again I will be! =D

Thanks for reading and have a greaaaaaat weekend - you'll probably have a better one than I will hehe

Youtube tutorial - Prêt-à-Papier Look 1

Hey guys!

I thought it was finally time to show you guys the looks that I've come up with using the products that I bought from the Prêt-à-Papier MAC collection. So here's the first of a few:

This pictures were taken when I originally came up with the look, and I changed it slightly for the tutorial. Instead of lining my waterline with the black eyeliner and extending the upper lid liner slightly past the outer corner to make a wing (as in the pictures), I lined my water line with the GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner in 011 Sky High (blue eyeliner) and didn't extend the liner across my upper lash line past the outer corner of the eye.

These pictures just prove that there are so many different ways of wearing this look - and shows that you really don't need to add bright colours to it to make it 'pretty'.

List of products used:
EYES:
-MAC Paint Pot - Coral Crepe (Prêt-à-Papier)
-MAC Eyeshadow - Cut to fit (Prêt-à-Papier)
-120 Pro Palette - Dark grey
-MAC Eyeshadow - Tissueweight (Prêt-à-Papier)
-MAC Fluidline - Blacktrack
-GOSH Velvet Touch Waterproof Eyeliner - Sky High
-L'Oreal Double Extension Mascara - Ultra-lengthening Mascara

LIPS:
-MAC Amplified Lipstick - Kraft

FACE:
-E.L.F Cosmetics Shimmering Facial Whip - Toasted
-E.L.F Cosmetics Studio Blush - Candid Coral
